Labor Watch- On Sunday, dozens of employees of national electricity companies held all the company's sites in the Kingdom protest against the refusal of the workers' demands and the closure of the dialogue with the workers by the company's management.
"The management of the company is intransigent and does not respond to the workers' demands of increasing salaries, paying end of service benefits and adjusting the health insurance" said Ali Al-Hadid, head of Jordan's electricity workers union.
He added: "The Company promised to open the door of dialogue after a meeting with the acting director general of the company." The workers ended their protest and threatened to resume the compromising program if the dialogue reached a dead end again.
