Labor Watch - Head of the Professional Association Council, the president of the Jordan Medical Association, Dr. Ali Al-Obous, confirmed that the Council decided to keep the strike on schedule on Wednesday.
Al-Abous said that the strike will be from 9 am to 2 pm, adding that a protest will be staged at the Professional Associations Compound from 1 to 2 pm to demand the withdrawal of the draft income tax law from the House of Representatives and to look into amendments to the civil service system.
The meeting of the Council, on Tuesday, was lasted four hours and attended by all members of the Council.
