Labor Watch - The Council of professional associations gave the government a week to withdraw the draft tax law from the House of Representatives, otherwise, it will announce next Wednesday a second strike.
The unions declared that today is the first day of the strike and it has got a great interaction in the public and private sectors. All sectors have carried out a labor strike to put pressure on the government to cancel the tax law.
The Council pointed out that the aim of the next strike is to "topple the government" in case it refused to approve the withdrawal of the draft law from the House of Representatives.
