Labor Watch- The committee of follow up the issues and demands of engineers who are working in the Ministry of Education announced to implement a protest in front of the ministry next Sunday, 2019/3/3.
The committee said in a statement that it gave several opportunities to the stakeholders to implement the demands of the engineers of education, but without respond.
The Committee expressed its condemnation of the delaying and procrastination method, which aims to not recognizing the rights of engineers working in the Ministry of Education. It also condemned all attempts to marginalized and discriminated between the engineers' groups in the ministry.
The Minister of Education, in previous statements, gave the engineers and agricultural engineers a bonus of 50 dinars during the current week, but the Engineers Association rejected this bonus because it does not meet the requirements of justice and equality to them like other colleagues who are working in different ministries and institutions of the Kingdom.
In addition to that, it stressed the inclusiveness of demands for all categories of engineers working in the Ministry without exception, and their right to equality within the Civil Service Law.
