Labor Watch - On Monday, mid-bus drivers operating on Al-Shafa lines in Ajloun carried out a strike to protest against private vehicles loading passengers for a fare.
The protesters said that the work of private vehicles caused them significant losses and that the continuation of this will lead them to leave their work because of the large losses they are subjected to; accordingly, they asked the Traffic Department to do its duty in order to eliminate this phenomenon.
The protesters said that they carried out a strike last September to demand a solution to their problem. They also lodged several complaints with the administrative and traffic police, but the problem has yet to be resolved.
