Labor Watch - Accountants in the Ministry of Health protested against did not include them by allowances and bonuses as the rest of the ministry's employees, demanding to raise the technical allowance from 35 to 100% and correcting the situation of all employees in financial matters for who had not the job titles of "accountant".
They issued a protest statement in which they announced a set of demands to obtain additional work allowance and transportation allowance for all accountants, and include the accountants working in the accounting of the end of the year bonus, and raising the points of incentives to 28 points for all accountants and employees in accounting, in addition to raising the price point for accountants as all Employees of the Ministry of Health or include them to doctors and pharmacists.
They stressed in their statement that the nature of their work required to leave their work place after the official working hours for deposit in the banks, auditing in the directorates and receiving orders at their own expense.
A committee of accountants from all the governorates of the Kingdom has been formed to discuss these points with the Minister of Health as soon as possible, before the adoption of the budget of 2019, where around 3,000 accountants in the ministry have signed a unified letter claiming an improvement of their status.
