Labor Watch - The average wage of social security subscribers was 528 dinars, for all active subsecribers of 280 million, according to the official spokesperson of the Social Security Corporation Musa Al-Subaihi.
Al-Subaihi said that the average wages of males subscribers amounted to 546 dinars, while the average wage of the females subscribers was 481 dinars, with a gap of 13.5 percent for males.
He added that the average wages of subscribers of the public sector amounted to 498 dinars, while the average wage for subscribers of private sector employees was 532 dinars with a gap of 11 percent in favor of workers in the private sector.
As for the subscribers on an optional basis, Al-Subaihi said that the average salary covered by the social security reached 732 dinars.
