Labor Watch - On Tuesday, dozens of unemployed persons held a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Labor to protest against the employment of migrant workers in closed professions.
"The employment of migrant workers in the closed professions has led to the failure of appointment the dozens of the citizens, as foreign companies are recruiting foreign workers to work in these professions," the protesters calling the ministry to intervene with companies that employ migrant workers in the closed professions due to its contravening of the Jordan Labor Law.
