Labor Watch - The Authorized Commission to improve the conditions of staff working in the Office of the Supreme Judge Department and Religious Courts decided to suspend the strike, which was to be implemented, until further notice.
"The decision to suspend the strike came after the meeting with the judge, where it was agreed to implement part of the demands that are the powers of the department with a pledge to follow up the rest of the demands with the government to reach its implementation," said Jumaa Al-Jaafra, spokesman of the committee.

The employees of the Religious Courts are required to transfer all salary, contract and the Solidarity Fund entitlements to the salary section, and to be counted in the social security, in addition to that, all the benefits from the institutional bonus should be distributed equally among the employees, give the Solidarity Fund ratio which equal 20% to the employees, as well as forming a social committee for the personnel assistant and carrying out official duties such as death, marriage and the like, such as death, marriage and the like, provide missions for pilgrimages to employees each year in addition to providing accommodation for employees of the Religious Courts in labor cities, as in other departments.
