The Medical Association suspends its escalatory procedures
Labor Watch - The head of the Jordan Medical Association, Dr. Ali Al-Obous, announced the suspension of the escalatory procedures initiated by the doctors of the Ministry of Health on Tuesday to stop working for two hours, after positive signs related to responding to the demands of the association.
Al Obous said that he would meet tomorrow, Thursday, and heads of health associations the Prime Minister Dr. Omar al-Razzaz, where the demands of doctors working in the ministry will be discussed.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Health responded to the association's demand to appoint new doctors by announcing the names of about 100 doctors required for appointment in the Health Ministry, considering it as "a positive gesture and a demand aimed at alleviating unemployment as well as providing hospitals with doctors, especially since many health centers and hospitals lack medical staff".
