Truck owners carried out a sit-in in front of Al Rajhi factory
Labor Watch - A number of cement truck owners carried out a sit-in on Tuesday for the second time in front of Al-Rajhi Cement Factory in Al Mafraq, demanding for unification and stability of cement prices.
A number of truck owners said that Al Rajhi factory has sold the cement less than the market price, which caused harm to their work as well as the factories that are competing them.
The trucks owners explained that they were transporting 40 tons a day from the Lafarge and others factories, but now and after the decreasing of cement prices they are transporting about 20 tons every three days, which affected their interests in addition to resulting financial damage after they stopped working.
