Labor Watch - The Ministry of Labor issued new instructions regarding the work vacation of the migrant workers' for the unrestricted nationalities, including the Egyptian, while the migrant worker in all sectors is required to take a vacation from work before leaving the country.
The ministry's spokesperson, Mohammad Khatib, said that "the worker has the right to take a vacation from work to leave and return to the country only after six months from the obtaining a work permit, and if the worker got the vacation he must leave after 48 hours from the date of getting the vacation permission", noting that the vacation form will be issued in two identical original copies signed by the employer and stamped by the labor directorate, one of which will be delivered to the worker and the other will be kept at the labor office with all attachments.
