Labor Watch - Professional Associations sources announced that the dialogue which was held on Monday, between the Council of Professional Associations and Prime Minister Dr.Hani Al Mulki about the draft law amending the Income Tax Law, was failed.
The sources said that the Council of professional associations refused to discuss the law before pulling it out by the government from the House of Representatives in order to discuss all sectors and open a real dialogue about the law.
The sources added that Prime Minister responded to the request of the unionists, "The draft law is in the House of Representatives, and the parliament will open a dialogue about the new amendments and the trade unions can participate in it", Prime Minister said.
The Council of professional associations said that the strike would be on next Wednesday and the law would not be discussed with the government without implementing the basic condition concerning withdraw the law by the government from the House of Representatives.
