Labor Watch - As (UNRWA) continued to refuse the workers' demands, the agency staff staged a strike on Monday to express their rejection of the administration's decisions and non-compliance with their demands.
The UNRWA staff committees started various escalation measures several weeks ago demanding the UNRWA administration to reverse its decisions regarding to the unprecedented increase in health insurance premiums, stop all the reduction of the services offered to the refugees by the Agency's administration, Increasing salaries of workers in line with the inflation rates in Jordan over the past five years, closing all issues related to the so-called neutrality and withdrawing all administrative penalties on employees.
