Labor Watch - On Monday morning, Dozens drivers and owners of the taxis strike to protest against what they called "Disregarding their demands by the competent authorities."
They demand better conditions for their sector, and stop working of the private vehicles which work in a public form without permits.
The Committee of the Forsan of the capital issued on Sunday a statement saying: "While the ways have been narrowed on us from the first sit-in two years ago, the issuance of official letters from the Ministry of Transport and the Public Transport Regulatory Commission, and the promises made by officials to improve the public transport sector and to stop the companies that violate the law by operating vehicles that work in a public form without permits, so we are in the process of implementing a comprehensive strike in all governorates on 20/11/2017.
